Bishop Ron Hicks asks Catholics of the diocese to join USCCB in fasting, praying the rosary on May 13

Bishop Ron Hicks today sent the following letter to all priests of the diocese:

Dear Father,

I just received this communication from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, inviting us to join Catholics around the country in fasting and praying the rosary on Friday, May 13, which is the Memorial of Our Lady of Fatima. These efforts reflect our Catholic response to the current tension surrounding the leaked draft opinion in the U.S. Supreme Court case of Dobbs V. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

Please join me in this prayer and fasting. Also, please invite your parishioners and staff to do so, as we continue to pray for, respect and defend life from conception to natural death.
